The Dallas Zoo is a zoological park located in Dallas, Texas. The zoo was founded in 1888 and is home to over 2,000 animals of 400 species. The Dallas Zoo is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and is accredited by the organization.  The zoo is also a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA).
