How much does Vinx pest control cost if I sign up online?

Vinx has three plans: HomeGuard is $49 a month (4 visits a year), Plus is $75 a month (6 visits a year) and Platinum is $109 a month (9 visits a year). The first service is normally $329; online it's $109 — the current $200 promotion plus an extra $20 off for booking online. Nothing is due when you sign up.

When will I be charged?

Nothing is charged at signup. The $109 first service is billed after your first visit. Monthly billing starts 30 days after the first visit, on autopay.

What's the difference between HomeGuard, Plus and Platinum?

HomeGuard is quarterly service (every 90 days) for 50+ common household pests, inside and out, with free re-services between visits. Plus comes every 60 days and adds a fire ant elimination guarantee and flea and tick coverage in your yard. Platinum comes monthly from April to November plus a winter visit, and adds monthly mosquito treatments, interior flea and tick coverage, and free bed bug treatment after 12 months on the plan.

Is there a contract?

Yes, a 12-month service agreement that you review and accept online before booking. If you cancel early, you pay back the first-service discount — that's the only penalty. After 12 months it continues month to month and you can cancel with 30 days' written notice.

How soon can Vinx come out?

You pick the day and arrival window (morning 8 a.m.–noon or afternoon noon–4 p.m.) while you sign up. Next-day visits are usually open, Monday through Saturday. Book before 11 a.m. and same-day afternoon visits are often available.

What if pests come back between visits?

Call and we come back to re-treat covered pests at no charge, usually the next day. If we have to come back more than twice between regular services for the same issue and it still isn't fixed, we refund your most recent payment.

Is Vinx pest control safe for kids and pets?

Yes. Vinx uses EPA-registered products applied mainly outside — the foundation, yard, eaves, and cracks and crevices — so products are rarely needed indoors. Kids and pets can go back to treated areas once they're dry.

Can I sign up online for termites, bed bugs or German roaches?

German roach treatment can be added to any plan during signup for $299 (a 3-visit treatment). For termites, pick Termites during signup to book a free termite inspection (in Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Virginia Beach), where you can also choose Sentricon protection. Most Sentricon installs are $399 with monitoring around $35 to $40 a month, and your exact price is set at the inspection before anything is installed. South Carolina homes that qualify can add a termite bond. Bed bug treatment is quoted for your home: choose it during signup and a Vinx specialist calls you within 24 hours with a free quote.

What time will the technician come?

You choose a morning (8 a.m. to noon) or afternoon (noon to 4 p.m.) arrival window when you book, and your visit is scheduled in that window. Next-day visits are usually open, Monday through Saturday.

Do I need to be home for the visit?

Not for the outside treatment: the technician treats the foundation, yard and eaves and leaves a summary of what was done. If you want the inside treated too, someone needs to be home to let the technician in.

Why a recurring plan instead of a one-time treatment?

One treatment only kills the pests that are there today. Eggs keep hatching for weeks afterward, and new pests move in from outside every season. Regular visits renew the protective barrier around your home and catch each new generation before it settles in, and free re-services cover anything that shows up between visits. That is why Vinx service is a plan, and why the first service is $109 online instead of $329.

What happens if I move?

If you move within a Vinx service area, call us and we move your service to your new address. Early cancellation terms are in the service agreement you review before booking.
