About Ryan
I didn't get into the pest control industry because I loved killing bugs. I got into it because I loved helping people.
While I was in college, I spent several summers doing sales for other pest control companies. I enjoyed working with homeowners and helping families protect their homes, but I quickly became frustrated with one thing: too many companies made big promises they couldn't keep. After the sale, I'd hand a customer my business card, and before long they'd be calling me with service issues I had no control over. Watching customers feel let down never sat well with me.
Eventually, my wife and I decided that if we were going to build a business, we wanted to build one differently. When we founded Vinx Pest Control, our mission wasn't simply to eliminate pests, it was to create a company known for exceptional customer service.
That philosophy still drives everything we do today. We invest heavily in training our team, hiring great people, using industry-leading products, and building systems that let us consistently deliver the kind of service we'd want our own families to receive. Peace of mind comes from knowing that when you need us, we'll show up, communicate well, and do the job right.
Since opening our doors, it's been incredibly rewarding to watch Vinx grow from a single location in the Carolinas to nine offices serving families throughout South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia. While we've grown, our focus hasn't changed: take care of people first, and everything else follows.
Editorial Role
Ryan reviews the pest control guides published on vinxpestcontrol.com for technical accuracy before they go live. Articles are written by the Vinx content team working alongside our licensed technicians, then checked against what our crews actually see in the field across the Carolinas and coastal Virginia. Where an article describes a treatment, a product, or a timeline, it reflects how Vinx genuinely does the work.
