Asian Needle Ant

Bed Bug

Black Widow Spider

Yellowjacket

Formosan Termite
An especially aggressive subterranean termite with very large colonies that can cause severe damage faster than native species. It's sometimes called the "super-termite."
Drywood Termite
A termite that lives entirely inside the dry wood it eats, without needing soil contact or moisture. Because it can infest furniture and structural wood far from the ground, severe cases are sometimes treated by whole-structure fumigation.
Swarmer
A winged, reproductive termite that leaves an established colony to start a new one. A swarm of these — or piles of discarded wings on a windowsill — is often the first visible sign of a termite problem.
Mud Tube
Pencil-width tunnels of soil and saliva that subterranean termites build to travel between the ground and a food source while staying protected and moist. Mud tubes on a foundation wall are a classic diagnostic sign.
Frass
Termite or wood-boring insect droppings. Drywood termites push tiny, six-sided pellets of frass out of their galleries, so small piles of what looks like sawdust or coffee grounds can indicate an active infestation.

Insect Growth Regulator (IGR)

Colony
An organized group of social insects — ants, termites, or bees — living and working together, usually with one or more egg-laying queens. Lasting control targets the colony as a whole, not just the individuals you see.
Nymph
An immature stage of insects that develop through gradual change (like cockroaches and bed bugs). A nymph resembles a smaller, wingless adult — and its presence signals that a pest is actively breeding on site.
Instar / Molting
