Why Spider Control in Poquoson Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All

Is It Really a Brown Recluse? Probably Not.

Virginia Tech Entomology places the brown recluse’s natural range in Virginia’s far southwestern corner. Isolated populations have been confirmed at a handful of other spots in the state, but those are generally traced to household goods or firewood carried in from outside Virginia, not to a resident Tidewater population.
